About ELI
The Education Leadership Institute (ELI) is a 501 C (3) not-for-profit corporation that was established in 2003.
ELI conducts research on public education, and seeks to expand public understanding and awareness of the complex issues in public education.
ELI is also committed to expanding the knowledge and skills of people serving in public education, especially elected school board leaders.
Among its recent initiatives, ELI has conducted several research studies to illustrate the disparity between wealthy and poor districts, and has also been developing a model program for providing leadership training for at-risk youth.
ELI is governed by a seven-person board of directors.
